We were recognized and I think received an honor at this event. I'm not sure if they mailed it to me afterward or not. The Volunteer Recognition Event was at ex-Commissioner Kathleen Riordan's estate at 20181 Northridge, Chatsworth, California. This is a private community which is fully gated with security guard entrance. Kathleen is the daughter of ex-Mayor Richard Riordan. We've met a few times. He is pro-animal. His daughter served on the commission for many years.
