WorldFest is now called VegFest Los Angeles - Mary Cummins, Animal Advocates

WorldFest is now VegFest Los Angeles, California.

WorldFest is now VegFest Los Angeles to better reflect our event.

VegFest Los Angeles is a project of Toward's Freedom, a 501c3 nonprofit organization

The combination of great music, empowering speakers, environmental, humanitarian and animal welfare non-profits, kids' activities and a delicious food court make for an earth-friendly experience that is sure to be motivating and enjoyable for all.

Coming in 2016: LA’S LARGEST VEG MUSIC FESTIVAL WITH ECO MARKET PLACE AND GLOBAL FOOD COURT.

Mary Cummins of Cummins Real Estate Services has been in real estate since 1983, over 35 years. She is licensed by the Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers. Mary Cummins was an agent and broker licensed with the California Department of Real Estate selling residential income, commercial buildings, raw land and homes for Merrill Lynch Realty in Beverly Hills and Westside Properties in Los Angeles before concentrating on appraisals. Mary Cummins currently provides real estate appraisals, expert witness testimony, historical research, legal real estate research for mortgage brokers, banks, lawyers, factors, insurance companies, financial consultants and private individuals. Mary Cummins was born and raised in Southern California. Cummins attended Beverly Hills Good Shepherd Catholic School and Beverly Hills High School. Besides being on the Dean's list, Mary Cummins was a top ten national swimmer and competed on the men's water polo team. Pope Francis tells couples not to forgo kids for pets - Mary Cummins, Animal Advocates

Pope Francis, people who forgo pets for kids will end up old and loney. Nope. Mary Cummins, Animal Advocates

Today 77 year old Pope Francis said that people who forgo kids for pets will end up "old" and "lonely."

"You can go explore the world, go on holiday, you can have a villa in the countryside, you can be carefree," the pope said. "It might be better — more comfortable — to have a dog, two cats, and the love goes to the two cats and the dog. Is this true or not? Have you seen it?

"Then, in the end this marriage comes to old age in solitude, with the bitterness of loneliness."

The Pope is 77 years old and has no kids. Is he bitterly alone? I doubt it. If you have cats and dogs instead of kids, you won't be alone when you're old because you'll still have cats, dogs and friends.

The Pope needs to take a look around. Yes, the birth rate is down but we still have way too many people on this planet. The earth can't support all of these people especially as our consumption of goods increases. Third world countries didn't used to have many cars, TVs, cell phones, computers. Now they are consuming goods almost at the same pace as first world countries.

Why would the Pope want more children? They actually used to reward and encourage people years ago to have big families. The more children the more Catholics the more money donated to the church. It's like any business trying to expand it's market base.
