Happy Halloween from Animal Advocates, Mary Cummins. Have a safe and happy holiday

Animal Advocates, Mary Cummins, Happy Halloween, Squirrel
That's Ernie the "special" squirrel. He had a head injury as a baby when he fell out of his nest. His mom went to pick him up but didn't think he'd make it so she left him. I picked him up, tried to reunite again but she didn't want him. I quickly realized that he was a "special" squirrel. I released him to my back yard so I could keep my eye on him. I had to build him and nest and leave food for him because he was never 100%. Fortunately the other wild squirrels knew he was a little slow and didn't hurt him when he did inappropriate things like try to play with them.
